Jake Titmus
Product Designer & Business Owner
Hey, thanks for taking the time to get to know me personally.
I love tech, friends & family, and optimising my life.
Before I was a designer… I was a chef, I worked my way up from Potwash to Head Chef & Kitchen manager, while completing my degree in Design.
More about work
In the day: I work at Sylvera, designing tools that turn carbon data into actionable insights (saving the planet, one pixel at a time). Before that, I was the solo product designer at Codat, juggling six products, scaling design systems, and making complex fintech feel effortless.
At night: I co-founded Unlimity, a plug-and-play design partner helping startups bring their ideas to life with beautiful, user-friendly experiences. Faster than fast.
Work never really stops for me—but that’s because I love it. If I wasn't working, I would be working, or thinking about design, or scrolling design twitter… sad i know.
Some thoughts
Software should be fun, useful and easy to use! Life is too short to be using depressing apps every day of your life.
Whats the point in designing something if no-one is going to use it?
If you're going to do it… DO IT!
Do stuff, fail, get better, repeat.
Everything in life can be optimised and systemised.
You can and should apply UX thinking to everything!
